The historic island of Klein Curaçao is located six miles from the tip of Curaçao where you will find the famous pink lighthouse in the centre of the island, shipwrecks on the windward side and, of course, beautiful white sand beaches and clear, turquoise blue water.
The scuba dive is provided by About Jackie Fine Diving and the boat trip to Klein Curaçao is provided by Mermaid Boat Trips.
Breakfast and an extensive BBQ lunch will be provided for you as well as changing rooms, fresh water showers and clean toilets both on the boat and on the island. If you want to relax after your dive, you can pick a sun lounger or hammock in the plentiful shade of the palapas surrounding our extensive beach house or catch some sun with a cold drink in hand.

There are two types of trips that we offer, both are guided dives for Open Water qualified divers; one with Lionfish hunting and one without. During a guided dive of Klein Curacao, we will guide you to the most beautiful diving spots by dinghy before jumping into the water where you will be enchanted by the beautiful underwater world of this uninhabited island.
For a Lionfish Hunting, in the Caribbean sea, Lionfish have no natural predators, so they are a danger to all other native fish species. As a result, they multiply quickly and are a nuisance to the coral ecosystem of our island. That is why, under strict rules, hunting this fish is beneficial to keeping the reefs of Curaçao healthy.
Once caught we can show you how to clean and prepare these delicious fish safely, and taste them too!

Transport to the boat in the morning can be arranged by taxi for you and if you are staying in the Jan Thiel area, a complimentary limo pick up service is provided before departure to Klein Curaçao at 7.00 AM.
For those with their own car, free parking is available. After a lovely day of diving, relaxing and exploring you will arrive back in Curaçao at approximately 5.00 PM.
